Hello everyone! This is the first major release of my open-source project. Please note that this project is still in Beta, and I am actively working on it whenever I find the time.
At the moment, almost everything is implemented, but I wanted to ask if I can release it now to gather your feedback or assistance. I would greatly appreciate it. Please, I kindly ask that you read the entire post before responding—no negativity or unconstructive criticism, please.
This project has been created with care and passion, so I hope it will be useful to you and assist you in your current or future projects.
You can check out the repository and read the README to learn more.

Info:
Modules are not just single functions that you call once and forget. They are structured blocks of code that group together multiple related functionalities.
Modules are frequently updated, so I recommend checking regularly for new releases. In any case, a notification will be posted in this thread whenever a new version is available.

Fixed a bug where it was not possible to write if you dont have enabled EnabledAutoAllocation (i forgot to replace old lines with these new lines of codes sorry).
Sorry for the lack of updates recently. I’ve been spending a lot of time working on a complete overhaul of the project. As part of this overhaul, the project has been renamed to Rbxenv, and it will officially leave beta very soon.
The new Bitstream is a complete rewrite of the original Buffer library. It introduces several new data types while being significantly more optimized, efficient, and performant than its predecessor.
This overhaul isn’t limited to Bitstream. Several existing libraries are also being completely rewritten and redesigned, including UserInput, to provide a cleaner API, better performance, and a more consistent developer experience across the entire framework.
The documentation website is temporarily unavailable and will return alongside the release of the new Bitstream and the updated Rbxenv.
If you’re interested in following the development progress, you can follow me on X or support me on Ko-fi. I regularly post development updates there, sometimes as often as once a week.
In addition, most of the libraries included in Rbxenv will receive a roblox-ts version. I’m also developing two brand-new libraries focused on networking and buffered networking.
Thank you for your patience and continued support. I look forward to sharing the new version of Rbxenv with everyone soon.
A new Bitstream update will be released soon. However, this will likely be the last update for a while due to personal issues on my end. I’ll continue working on the project whenever I have the time and mental energy, but I can’t commit to a regular release schedule for now.*
This upcoming update includes more than 10 new types, notably two new ones: F8 and F24. It also introduces schemaless serialization.
Thanks to everyone who has been using and supporting Bitstream. Feedback and contributions are always welcome.
