So I had an idea after seeing many young developers scammed. I had the idea of making a game that allows you to background check a player before working for them. Then if a player is scammed or has had a good time working for a player they can send in a review of a player and that will be added to their background page in the game.

Yeah, perhaps a “trust” rating would be good on Talent Hub. When I have posted jobs up there, it was difficult to gauge who was capable to completing the work based on the TH profile.
That sounds like a very good idea.
However, one problem that can arise from this are false reports. For example, a hater can submit a review regarding a legitimate developer containing inaccurate and misleading information, with the sole purpose of slandering and ruining their reputation. There would have to be verification system in place to distinguish between fake posts. I’m not entirely sure if this verification concept is possible, and even then, posts can be faked (to include false info with no evidence, like previously mentioned).
Nevertheless, I can see this resource being used to a great extent, for the greater good, as long as it isn’t abused.
Well we have the “Verified” tick, so if that is accessible via the Player API, then it is probably doable. However, not many have the “tick” yet.
Yeah, I think Roblox is handing out more and more verification “ticks” to creator. If that’s not the case, I hope they proceed to award them. Although just because a developer is verified doesn’t mean they’re always reliable; a verified creator could end up scamming someone if they had the will to do so.
I’m placing my trust on them, and am sure that these developers are decent and trustworthy people.

You need to make sure that whoever is reviewing the reports has the proper knowledge to distinguish what information is real and false. Otherwise, an oversight may cause a big impact on a developer’s status.
