Option for autocomplete inside comments

As a Roblox developer, it is currently too hard to get into good workflow when writing comments due to the autocomplete. The autocomplete feature is helpful when writing code, I don’t want to turn it off. But I do not want autocomplete when I am writing comments. To my knowledge there is no option for what I am suggesting.

Here is a thread talking about it years ago, as I was going to file this as a bug report until finding this.

If Roblox is able to address this issue, it would improve workflow as when hitting enter after writing a comment wouldn’t create unwanted auto-completed code.

I never want autocomplete in comments.

The only time I use autocomplete in comments is when I’m documenting function parameters.

Otherwise it’s an annoying hindrance and is better off disabled for comments completely.

Nah, autocomplete for script, not in comments.

That’s what this feature request is, so far it will autocomplete when writing comments, I want it to be toggleable so I can turn it off, but others in the past have said they like it

I actually find that useful for when I’m documenting code through comments and can autocomplete variable names I’m talking about. Does it bother you because the popup comes up, or because enter triggers autocomplete when you try to go to a newline and/or autocomplete steals control from arrow keys?
