Happy Thanksgiving, Tycoons! How are you all doing? We hope that you all had a great week, and that you all love this year’s OT2 Black Friday promos. We also hope that you all loved the new Deepest Depths expansion! It’s our biggest single-update area expansion yet, consisting of about 100 new items and spanning an area over thrice as big as the Main Refinery! With that said, we know how excited you are for future updates, so let’s get to the point of this patch’s QnA!
Q: While in Solo Island, safes keep dropping down to the sea floor! Since we can’t dive, we cannot collect them.
A: We have a fix for this! Starting in Version 2.11, all safes in Solo Mode will now float upon hitting the ocean (through super-secret floating magic). We apologize to everyone for the inconvenience.
Q: Can we have a button in Gameplay Settings that lets us see the current version, release date, and server uptime?
A: Hmm… While we have plans to include the current game version to the settings, we do not plan to include the release date and server uptime to this. We’ll let you know whenever this feature goes live!
Q: Using the Broadcasts system can be a little inconvenient sometimes. Can we have a shortcut to send broadcasts through the chat bar?
A: You got it! In Version 2.11, the Broadcast System will be rebranded into the Global Chat System. In this new system, you’ll be able to send global chats by prefixing your messages in the chat bar with “/global” or “/g”!
Q: Sending global chats can be a little expensive sometimes. Can the price be reduced?
A: Alright! In Version 2.11, we’ll be slashing the price of sending global chats by half, from 500 Tycoon Bux to 250 Tycoon Bux.
Q: Time in Solo Mode flows weirdly… What’s up with that?
A: It’s not flowing weird at all! In Solo Mode, the game time is same as your device time. This means that if it’s 10:00 PM in your area, it will also be 10:00 PM in your Solo Island!
Q: Can we have an updated system for Mystery Bags that gives us a guaranteed item of a certain tier after some unboxes?
A: Hmm… Are you sure you’ve not been snooping on the devs’ notes?In Version 2.11, we’re adding a new Guarantee System to Mystery Bags! More details will be revealed soon on our Update Notice… For the meantime, we’ll have a stern talk with our beta testers…
Q: I missed old events, such as Bag Hunt 2019 and Holidays 2020… Will I ever be able to obtain some of the event items?
A: Everything has their own time… Please make sure to follow us at Twitter @OreTycoon2 to be notified whenever we do Time Capsule events, where limited event items return (for Robux OR Tycoon Bux) to the Catalog for a short period of time! Beware, these time capsules tend to be preeeeeeeeeetty expensive!
Q: Will we have a Holidays event this year?
A: Yup yup yup! It’s probably our biggest one yet… Stay tuned for more info regarding this year’s Holidays event!
