We are an upcoming Japanese restaurant that provides you with the most exquisite Japanese cuisine. Otakú strives to provide everyone with Japanese delicacies that can bring them joy and comfort. Here at Otakú, you are greeted by the friendliest staff members that strive to provide you with the best experience.
Rules and Regulations
I. Respect
We strongly encourage everyone to respect each other in this community. If you fail to do so you will be removed and/or banned. At Otakú, our community is urged to be responsible, respectful, constructive, and positive, and any actions otherwise are prohibited.
II. Appropriation
Do not post any inappropriate images, profile pictures, links, or files on this server. Inappropriate or offensive profile pictures or “playing” messages are also prohibited at Otakú. If any of these are found, you are subject to our punishment policies. We would like to keep this Discord server as clean and professional as possible.
III. Spamming
Spamming in any channel is not allowed at any time. Mentioning someone multiple times without valid reasoning also is prohibited. This rule is applied to messages, roles, images, GIFs, links, etc.
IV. Advertising
We have a strict no advertising rule. Do not post unapproved messages of any other group, website, etc without approval. Self-promotion or the promotion of an organization or body is a violation of our no advertising policy. This includes DM advertising.
V. Professionalism
All staff members are to remain professional in public chats, however, grammar is not mandatory.
VI. Bullying/Drama/Harassment
Directive comments made in a negative manner are prohibited. This includes general harassment in the server or direct messages. Causing drama with another member on our server or in direct message is also prohibited.

The Human Resources department is in charge of affairs relating to our Managment Assistant+, our staff team as a whole, appeals for demotions, promotions, suspensions, etc.

The Moderation Department manages Otakú’s Discord moderation, and is to be contacted regarding situations that need moderation assistance, moderation inquiries, etc. Note that this department is run solely by the Presidential Team, as it does require a lot of trust and effort.

Affiliation Information
If you wish to form a partnership with Otakú, you are to follow the guidelines/expectations listed below. If you fail to meet any of the requirements, your application will automatically be denied. We seek to find exceptional alliances, and to do so, we expect groups to show immense professionalism, activity, organization, and have a welcoming community.
REQUIREMENTS:
➳ No bad history with any member of Otakú’s Presidential Team.
➳ Must be a professional group that has maintained a good reputation in the ROBLOX industry.
➳ No past record of scamming, free ranking, or selling ranks with administrative powers.
➳ The group should be mainly original and should not plagiarize any other group.
➳ The group must show substantial activity.
➳ The group must be willing to provide 2 allied representatives that we can contact.
➳ The group must be part of an industry. This excludes fan groups, military groups, etc.
➳ Each response must provide 4+ sentences and utilize grammar.

Ban Appeals
To maintain the safety and friendliness of the Otakú community, we often have to ban certain people, whether it be from our Communications Server or our ROBLOX games. However, we acknowledge that many reflect over their mistakes and change, so we will be offering ban appeals for the Communications Server, in-game, and anywhere else. To appeal, please DM any member of the Corporate+ team for the Appeals Server link.
Rank Information
Valued Customer: A guest rank for those that have joined the group. In order to work at Ukiyò , they must take the Trainee application and pass a training.
Noted Customer: A guest rank given to those that have contributed to Otakú, usually HR+ that have stayed for a long time or those that have made a positive impact in the community.
Trainee: The first LR rank at Otakú. This is the rank that one gets after passing the Trainee application, and they are eligible to become a Waiter/Waitress through passing one of Ukiyò’s training sessions.
Waiter/Waitress: The first LR rank that is eligible to work at Otakú. This rank is achieved through passing one of Otakú’s training sessions. They are in charge of seating customers, taking orders, and sending them to the chefs, who will then make these orders by attending another training session and to have accumulated 50 points to become a Junior Chef.
Junior Chef: The first chef rank that is eligible to cook at Otakú. This rank is achieved through garnering 50 points and passing the Junior Chef training.
Sous Chef: This is the intermediate chef rank. You achieve it through receiving 250 points and you will receive this promotion through an Administrative Officer+, whom you are to DM to be promoted.
Executive Chef: This is the highest LR rank achievable. You achieve this rank through garnering 600 points, and you will also receive this promotion through an Administrative Officer+, whom you are to DM to be promoted. This is the LR rank that is eligible for Management promotions, and if noticed by an Administrative Officer+, may possibly be promoted. This rank is also purchasable through a ROBLOX gamepass.
Management Assistant: This is the first Management rank (MR rank), and is usually achieved either by passing applications or being noticed by an Adminstrative Officer+. They are to help out customers, moderate servers, and are expected to demonstrate high knowledge, dedication, and professionalism.
Management Team: This position is the second Management rank. This role is achievable by being noticed by an Administrative Officer+ or by anyone in the Human Resources department. Having this rank means that you are expected to moderate all our servers and are to act as a role model for our LRs.
Administrative Intern: This is the hybrid rank between Management and Administration. This rank is only achievable by intern applications and only those in the Management Team rank can apply. As this rank, you will go under instruction on what it is like to be a member of the Administrative (HR) team and they should demonstrate the highest level of knowledge, professionalism, and act as role models for Management and LRs.
Administrative Officer: This is the first official rank on the Administrative (HR) team. Those in this rank should be treated with high honors as people in this rank have been with the group for a long time. They are expected to protect the restaurant from any disruptions to our staff’s work and to oversee that the restaurant is running smoothly. In addition, this is the first rank that can host shifts and training sessions unsupervised. They are to act as a role model for the LR and Management Teams and as a mentor for the Interns when that time comes.
Administrative Director: This is the second and the last rank on the Administrative Team. Those in this rank are Otakú veterans and should also be treated with high respect. They are expected to demonstrate high knowledge, dedication, and professionalism to reach this rank. They are also expected to also be mentors for the interns when the time comes. They also ensure that the restaurant is also free from trollers and exploiters.
Corporate Intern: This is the hybrid rank between Administration and Corporate. This rank is achievable through either intern applications or through being noticed and recognized by our Corporate+ team. Those that hold this rank act as a role model to everyone under them, and are the first ranks that can work in departments. This rank works closely with both the Corporate Team and the Administrative Team. This is also the first rank that is able to add and remove Discord roles.
Junior Corporate: This is the first official rank in the Corporate Team. Those with this rank have contributed greatly to Otakú and are major parts of the departments. This is also the first rank that automatically receives Discord Moderation permissions.
Senior Corporate: This is the second and last rank in the Corporate Team. Those with this rank are considered of highest honors and have dedicated a plethora of time, dedication, and effort. They work closely with the Presidential Team and help to oversee ranks below them. This rank is also the first rank that is eligible to lead a department.
Developer: This is the rank for those that help to work on Otakú’s development, whether it be architecture, GUI designing, modeling, animating, scripting, etc.
Presidential Intern: This is the first rank of the Presidential Team and also a hybrid between Presidential and Corporate. Those with this rank are given a trial as a Presidential, and after one week will either be promoted to Presidential Assistant or demoted back to Senior Corporate.
Presidential Assistant: This is the first official rank on the Presidential Team. Those that hold this rank are major decision-makers in important decisions of Otakú and help to oversee ranks below them.
Vice President: This rank oversees the group, helps to work closely with all other ranks to ensure that operations are running smoothly.
President: This member is the head of the group. They oversee all operations and departments to ensure functionality and work to deteriorate the level of drama, controversy, etc. They are also in charge of managing investments, overseeing development, etc.
Low Ranks
At Ukiyò, we seek staff that demonstrate professionalism, maturity, and use proper grammar.
APPLYING
To apply for an LR rank at Otakú, you must pass the Trainee Application in the Application Center, which is under the group. If you successfully pass, you will automatically be ranked to Trainee through our bot. Then, to start working at Otakú you must pass a training to become a Waiter/Waitress. The training times can also be found in this handbook.
STAFF GUIDELINES
- All staff are required to act professionally at all times.
- Staff are required to use grammar at all times in-game.
- All staff must abide by the ROBLOX ToS
- All staff must remain respectful to everyone in any situation.
- Staff are not allowed to hint for promotions.
- Staff must use common sense and not commit irrational acts.
CONSEQUENCES/PUNISHMENTS:
If you are found breaking any of the staff guidelines, punishments will be given according to the severity of the situation. This could be a warning, demotion, ban, or blacklist. You will be given three verbal warnings before the termination of your staff rank, and harsh actions may result in immediate termination and/or ban/blacklist.
PROMOTIONS:
Valued Customer - Trainee: Pass the Trainee Application in the Application Center.
Trainee - Waiter/Waitress: Pass the Waiter/Waitress training at one of the designated training times.
Waiter/Waitress - Junior Chef: Garner 50 points and pass the Junior Chef training at one of the designated training times.
Junior Chef - Sous Chef: Garner 250 points and have an Administrative Board+ rank you.
Sous Chef - Executive Chef: Garner 600 points and have an Administrative Board+ rank you.
