Overall Building | Feedback Required

About me: :innocent:
Hello, my name is xStarfully and I would honestly probably consider myself an experienced builder as I have been building for approximately 2 years now while working for other people and groups. However, I am always accepting feedback and suggestions for my builds.

The problem?
The thing is, I am normally dedicating myself to giving feedback to other builders and I haven’t yet stepped down to ask for what I could improve on. Without any feedback, I probably will not spot where I am going wrong from when I finalise my builds and start them.

What I have done:
I do not fancy any more tutorials on how to build as I have already mastered that, I have also watched a collection of different speed builds to give me inspiration with my own. But, I would still like to better in ways that others perspectives and recommendations could help out.

Concluding information:
If you have any suggestions or ideas on how I could improve my style and quality, feel free to state them below. It would be very more appreciated, thank you.

Your builds are amazing! Honestly at this point when youve mastered a lot of the main building portion of it, you just need to focus on the little things, mainly textures. For example in the first picture the texture on the floor feels a bit too harsh and dark and I would make it slightly transparent. Also, I do think you need some more color variation, especially in the 5th picture for example. Nonetheless, your builds are great! Keep doing what youre doing

Great work I like the different architecture, and low poly schemes
If I had to guess you are not using all Roblox patterns as some of these look like meshes or decals, but they look awesome, overall though great work. If you are ever open to commission let me know we are always looking for devs on my team.

Your builds are all fantastic, I just recommend focusing on anything you consider your “weak areas”. You’ll want to make sure your lighting is complimenting the scene as well, and just add style choices where you see fit. You also might want to try working with terrain, which will probably open a whole new world of options.

Thank you for all the suggestions, it it really appreciated. I will keep in mind of the colour variations as I have been doing that recently, the 5th example was built last year so I wasn’t that experienced in materials and colour wise, most of my time was spent getting the shape right. Overall, I will work on the textures as I usually only use them for realistic flooring models.

Thank you for the feedback, it is very much appreciated! Also, yes I used textures for the floors in 1, 2 and 5, also the walls in picture 5. Otherwise, everything else is built with parts by hand.

Thank you for the suggestions, I will keep these in mind. I have worked with terrain in the past, but I agree with trying to focus on it more to keep my options wider.

I think it looks amazing and I really like the lighting of the builds but I think a few pictures are a little plain and should have more items around.

Is it just me or does the last picture look similar to something in seven deadly sins?

Yes, most of them I haven’t completed lmao. Also, indeed I attempted the bottom of the hat in seven deadly sins. :))

Hey!

These look really cool, honestly the only thing I would so is go over tiny, tiny details to make everything more realistic. Maybe some more paintings, or you can have a desk with cards on it and car keys on the side. It would just make everything look really professional, but so far these are great builds!

Thank you for the feedback, I will keep that in consideration.

Builds are great hope these make it to production

This is awesome, I love this a lot! For picture #1 that floor texture is used a lot, and I feel like you should add a bit more detail to the walls though. I think something like this would be good

The other images showed in your feedback are really good, but the last one looks really bland and blocky, and I know you stated earlier that they aren’t 100% complete, but yeah I love it everything is awesome keep up the work! :+1:

Thank you, I really appreciate that.

Thank you for the feedback. Since this topic was posted, I have actually worked on my terrain and building skills, I am trying to get myself away from using textures for flooring and it is coming together better than I expected. Also, with the flooring are you referencing to the bottom parts of the walls?
