Papers please similar game just released, [i need feedback]

Hi we’ve been working on a game called Mornia: Borderline a border control simulation. The game is currently in beta, and i’ve decided to release it earlier due to my upcoming university entrance exam

While some features are still in development, the core systems are functional, and we believe this is a good time to begin collecting feedback

Thats why i’d really appreciate your thoughts and feedback at this stage

.

“The detector tutorial is still in development. To accept your first entrants, pull down the metal detector lever and press the blue button to activate it. Click the gate to let them in. The rest will be explained in the guidebook inside your office.”

I would really love to get some feedbacks…

I just played it and I love it. Its such a fun game and it is made very well. At first I was a little confused on what I needed to look for in people’s documents, but after reading the guide more carefully I understood. One thing that may be useful is a way to see the nationalities and cities easier? Maybe if they were on the wall or there was a way to access the book from a UI button it would make it easier than walking up to the book every time. Overall it is still a great game and I am very excited to see future updates.

Thanks so much for the kind words and helpful feedback. Im really glad you enjoyed the game. I totally get the point about easier access to nationalities and cities and I’ve added it to my update notes. Appreciate you taking the time to share it.

Hey there, sorry for the slow reply, I played the game a few days ago but wasn’t able to share my thoughts on it but couldn’t reply because I only had a trust level of visitor at the time. Game looks well polished, and I like the slightly cartoony feel. However, it does feel like the game drops you in the deep end a bit. I know you said the tutorial is still in developement, and I think this should be fairly high in priorities. (Only when you get the time of course, university entrance is more important than roblox games) I think the first day should be slightly more of a walkthrough than it is at the moment. I also think some of the things you need to check should be delayed to later days. (eg at first only checking that the country is on the list, then later checking if the city and country code match with the country) I also think that having a poster with the countries on the wall would be a good idea, as @PizzaisrealyAWSOME suggested previously. Thanks for reading my thoughts and good luck on your entrance exam!

Hey, thank you so much for your feedback! No worries at all about the late reply.

Improving the tutorial is already on my list, and i realize just how important that part really is.

I’ll try to implement all of the suggestions into the game as soon as i can find the time, thank you so much. Good luck to you as well in everything you’re working on!
