Welcome To “Parkour Ninja” Devlog
I am recreating a old game I used to play a lot back then “Be A Parkour Ninja” in my vision with many enhancements & changes to the mechanics to still keep it fast paced but also have it be more casual and enjoyable for all players
At the time of creating this post I’ve been working on the game for over 2 weeks so far and I am very excited with the direction the game is going so far, originally I just wanted it to be a exact replica of the game but I want to go on my own path and try to be more original with the idea which has been turning out really well so far
How The Game Works
Basically the main gist of this game is you use your mobility to gain distance on the maps and gain advantage over other players, the maps will intentionally have many tall structure mainly for you to climb and dash off of onto other structures to get around quickly & easily as you hunt for your next target
Game Info
Controls
- Space to double jump / dash in mid air & climb walls
- C to slide when moving
- 1 to equip / unequip sword
- M1 to attack with sword if equipped
Gameplay Info
To climb a wall you basically just double jump while facing & touching a wall and you can infinitely jump, if you double jump / dash in mid air and you touch a wall you can climb it and dash in mid air again it basically resets it
