ive messed with it a little more and theres still a bit of bugs with the different states and animation weights so if anyones got feedback like if something looks off in the gameplay id appreciate hearing it.

thanks man. ive mostly just been trying to get the methods down for moving the player around in a way that feels dynamic and expressive without the jankyness but ill have to get better at animating to remove the visual jank. do you think theres anything youd change or add cause ive mostly been basing this off Mirrors Edge and Pacers gameplay
Understatement imo, this is smooth and satisfying - it feels perfect. Add some sfx to every move and it will be very pleasing
it looks smooth but if i were you i would add more sounds to every action like for example when sliding over a block and raise their volume. i would also lower the walking sounds, add like a roll or sth you do when you fall of a great heigh with significant momentum, otherwise i would ragdoll the player as a punishment and also add sfx as others were saying, specifically like dirt or other particles. lastly, maybe it would be cool for when you are sprinting and you slide, your FOV increases, and there are wind like particles or when you are going fast in general. In spite of whatever you may think of my feedback, take everything i say very lightly as they were just the first things that popped in my head when i came across your post ![]()
thanks for the suggestions man. ive been tryna implement that typa stuff but ive been stuck on animations for a while now since i cant seem to make them up to the standard id like them to be. as far as sfx goes i havent got a mic to record my own and i havent found any free audios that i liked. the systems kinda hardstuck where it is until i improve on that stuff lol
yw man but if you find the animations hard and you arent getting any progress done, then just skip into other stuff. for animations i suggest you gather some robux somehow and pay sm else to do them for you. in regards to the audios if u want i can give u a link to a model with some i used for a project a while back. Either way, there are lots of audios out there on the internet for free
Is this game first person perspective? If so, it seems better to make the motions more obvious for player.
