UPDATE: I’d like to add that this issue has since become worse. As of now, the detail on newly rendered avatar thumbnails with particles have completely gone flat. It’s not clear if Roblox staff are silently working on this issue in real time which caused this to happen or if something else unintentionally caused avatar thumbnails that contain transparent items/particles to break further. Since Roblox staff has never confirmed anything on this thread, I’m going to assume that this new problem wasn’t the result of them attempting to fix the issues highlighted in this report.
