Parts try to escape when I move them with JoinSurfaces on

Reproduction Steps:

  1. Open the attached place file (486.5 KB).
  2. Select the parts selected in this image (run “game:GetService(“Selection”):Set(game:GetService(“CollectionService”):GetTagged(“the the”))” to easily do this, I tagged all the needed parts).
  3. Move the parts slightly out of place and then back to where they were.
  4. The parts escape. You’ll have to anchor them in order to get them to stop.

Expected behavior

The parts stay in place and create joints with the other parts instead of escaping from me.

We’re having trouble reproducing this using vanilla Studio build after multiple attempts.

Could you please share the list of beta features and custom plugins installed ? It very much looks like some add-on side effect.

This isn’t happening to me anymore, with and without plugins and beta features enabled.

I’m not sure if I disabled/enabled a beta feature between the making of my initial post and now that indirectly fixed this issue, but it seems to not be happening to me anymore.
