Passkey removal not working as expected

I contacted roblox support to get my passkey removed.

When they removed it, I expected my enhanced protection to be turned off. However, this was not the case. Instead, I recieved an error popup anytime I tried to remove enhanced protection.

Enhanced protection requires a passkey to add or remove, but I do not have one yet its enabled, so it bugs out. I would like for this to be fixed.

The removal is important to me as this makes it so I cannot DevEx, or give developers payouts.

Expected behavior

I expect my enhanced protection to be removed or the ability to be removed when passkey is removed.

Hi, thank you for this report. Do you know when this happened? As in the date / time the Roblox support you contacted reset your account but did not reset your EPP status.

Hi,
This happened on the 22nd of July, around 8PM (UTC+1)
I had to create multiple tickets for them to also reset my EPP status.

Interesting so you have:

  • no EPP status
  • No passkey
  • password works fine
  • On DevEx payout flow specifically you get invalid password when you try cashing out with password + authenticator.

Exactly!

Not sure what the issue is. I have tried going to support but they are no help. I don’t think they understand my issue (it’s very particular).

I have tried resetting my password and using it, but to no avail. Is there any way this can be fixed?
