My friend owns the account ‘gbl’ on roblox, some malicious actor reported his name for containing ‘personal information’ and his name was content deleted. This was a false ban but he does not mind that you made the mistake there. The issue is that he now can no longer change back to the name ‘gbl’ as it says the username ‘contains private information’. The name gbl contains no private information at all, it is just 3 letters combined. There is no way it can be classed as private information.

as you can see, it is not letting him change to his old username. This is the username he is known by everyone as. This name is the only alias he goes by on the internet so it has a strong meaning to him. I hope you can fix this issue as I have checked other usernames (example: ‘gb1’ and ‘gbi’) and they did not have the same issue as my friend, they allow you to have the name despite being pretty much variants of the name ‘gbl’ (since capital ‘i’ looks like an l and ‘1’ also looks like l). Hopefully you can fix this issue and my friend can change back to his username. I would like to clarify, he gave me permission to post this and asked me to do so. This is not him asking for a free name change or anything of the sort, he will pay the 1,000 robux to change it. He just wants it uncensoring.
Expected behavior
The expected output would be for it to allow him to change to this username again. It still is listed on his account profile in the previous names.
