Payer Conversion Rate and ARPDAU decreasing as game gains more popularity

Hey everyone,

I’ve noticed something odd in my game Fortline and could use really any idea as to why this happened, any feedback is appreciated!

So for some context, a few weeks ago my game was on the brink of dying without any recent updates and me just being lazy, averaging around 50–150 CCU. But after some new updates and new icon/thumbnail changes, it grew to around 1000 CCU.

What intrigues me is that as the player count increased, my Payer Conversion Rate and ARPDAU actually went down. I’m not entirely sure if this is related to the recent updates, or if its simply because of the larger audience the game is now attracting.

And finally I managed to get up an old version of my game directly before releasing these new updates. Old Version

Any feedback helps and is appreciated! If you guys want me to share more pictures of my analytics just let me know.

Hey lavastone, I recently checked out FORTLINE :collision: and had a solid time dropping into the action. The Fortnite-inspired mechanics shine through — building, shooting, looting — and it’s cool to see all these features working in Roblox. I liked the vibe and the scale, but it felt like it needs a clearer guide for new players, plus the building/UI felt a bit unclear at first and one or two bugs (like ammo count).

I am going to assume the payer conversion rate went down because there are more new players trying it for the first time, and they’re not ready to dedicate and spend their Robux on it yet. Previous to your update, it was likely loyal players playing who spent Robux.
