I’m to get my game a brand, so I’d like an ad that fits the games icon.
But I want it to be eye-catching.
Ad should be a banner style.
Game icon:
Also paying 1k for a similar thumbnail.
Ask it to the artist of the icon ? He is the only one that can do that. (Also, did he just draw with paint to get the green …)
Yes, which is kinda why I don’t want to do that. The icon will be smaller but I need the ad and thumbnail to be of higher quality.

I’d help, but I don’t have much time for it at the moment.
About the icon:
No offense to the artist but pretty much everything in the picture except for the text can easily be found on Google. For the grass I guess there wasn’t a good ‘cartoony grass’ texture in Google images? The combination, however, doesn’t look bad.
Anyway, as it needs to fit the current icon, it’s hard to create something with at least equal quality as most of the current icon is made by professionals. I suggest you (or the artist taking the challenge) to re-use the shark and fishes (to keep it similar to the icon) and create your own ad/thumbnail by combining them with awesome art skills.

That’s the problem. I offered to pay 1k, and I didn’t want to say no once one was made. I don’t have the money to pay exorbitant prices, and you get what you pay for.
I’m actually really annoyed with they, especially since I know in the long run I’ll need a new icon.

If you’re paying 1k, you deserve better than what that person gave you, you shouldn’t have paid.
Btw, I wipped something up with some clip art which might be considered slightly better, don’t worry about paying me though because it isn’t worth anything.
Haha, if you asked me I’d of redone the seaweed…
And I have a load of other jobs, which I why I didn’t use much effort for the 1k thumbnail (Sorry Jon). Also I think you should keep the shark and fish I used, I think they’re pretty good. And @Dom I suggest working on positioning and not using bevel text.

Edit: this post was a bit harsh. Dealing with a deadbeat ex-brother-in-law right now.
I did everything but the fish. So everything is the good except the fish then right? Also you never said anything about images having to be original, you happily accepted it, this isn’t my problem. It was your mistake for not asking for a higher standard, for all I knew that was the exact thumbnail you wanted.
I don’t know if this is too late or not but I made this icon quickly, if you want it or an ad or anything contact me on skype (flyby000).
Looks good, he told me to make title orange though.
