PBR oddly changing colors based on location?

Hello, I am trying to build a wooden dock while practicing the use of substance painter. For some reason, whenever I move the parts around or rotate them they change colors.

I could flip a part and on the other side the PBR would come out black. Move its location 10 studs to the right and suddenly the color is a light brown again… It makes no sense but it’s really messing with the coloring scheme of the dock.

As you can see now, the dock is 2 different colors. I want it to be one color.

It’s possibly an issue related to the lighting.

Are you using a normal map? If so, can we see it? And can we see what the mesh looks like in your 3D software?

I can guess that it’s a normal map that’s really strong so that lighting makes the whole mesh change colour, but there are other causes that I’d want to rule out first :slight_smile:
