We are experiencing severe performance issues across the entire game and have not been able to identify the root cause.
Players consistently report that every server feels extremely laggy, regardless of the server they join. The issue has been ongoing and significantly impacts gameplay. We made a major revamp with the game and released it almost 1 year ago, since then the performance has been an issue.

Player Reports
We receive reports from multiple sources, including our Discord server, in-game bug report tickets, and Roblox’s feedback system after players rate the game.
Example reports:
“Ngl idk if its js me but every single Roanoke server is laggy asf im making my switch to YSO I cant do dis shi no more”
Another report from a PlayStation 5 player:
“Oh so its like the game is so laggy on ps5 making it harder to play and not fun because I like that game it’s very realistic, but it’s like the music when you try to play music. It’s kind of too and it’s so laggy and I was requesting if for y’all to just fix that.”
Additional Information
We have attached several videos and screenshots demonstrating the issue and showing player reports.
At this point we are unsure what is causing the performance problems and would appreciate any help investigating the issue.
Hey @LikeTric
We’ve triaged the issue and rolled out a fix for playstation 4.
We also noticed that your game loads ~7000 assets on game join, and while standing still we see occasional bursts of ~300 asset loads. Is this expected?
Some ways to reduce the number of assets needed for your game could be using StreamingEnabled (we saw that it’s already enabled in your game. have you selected a good enough streaming radius?), reducing how many assets need to be loaded in general, opt-ing in to mesh streaming, and using SLIM.
Hey @LikeTric,
Do you have the usernames for users that are consistently reproing this? We’d like to put them in a channel to see if we can get some more info from them playing your game.
If you do have the usernames, can you send them as a private message?
