Persistent Asset Thumbnail Window Across Experiences in Roblox Universal App

NOTE: This bug report is being reposted because the original report was closed by a Roblox employee, who advised creating a new one if the issue continued. As of now, the problem persists.

Issue Description

When navigating between Roblox experiences and other locations within the Roblox Universal App, the Asset Thumbnail (which displays a project’s video trailer) remains visible even after switching to a different experience or location. This prevents the window from closing automatically, resulting in a persistent UI issue.

Reproduction Steps

1. Locate a Roblox project with a video trailer available.
2. Click on the project to open the Asset Thumbnail window, which plays the trailer.
3. Navigate to another experience or place within the Roblox Universal App.
4. Observe that the Asset Thumbnail window does not disappear and continues to stay on screen.

Expected Behavior

When switching to a different experience or place, the Asset Thumbnail window should close automatically, ensuring the new view is not obstructed.

Agree that this is not ideal behaviour. As this is not a blocking issue (the user can just close the window) and we aim to transition to inline gameplay preview videos instead of the little popup window, we will not be fixing this.
