lately, my ping on the regions closest to me (brazil to be specific) have had unusually high ping compared to a few weeks ago (2 weeks ago or so). I’ve tried every solution on the devforum and on other websites to no avail, weirdest thing is that one of my friends had this issue before (having bad ping on brazilian regions when I had good ping) but now out of nowhere he has good ping while I don’t?

weirdly enough, i get better ping on regions further away (like the US), averaging 130-150 ms compared to my now usual 170 - 200 ping. it’s not really a big deal but it’s kind of annoying really. [sorry if my wording is a little bad, its my first post D:. i can give better explanations on replies]
Hey. I’ve been having this issue recently as well. I’d like to ask if you’re anywhere near the Caribbean region/ reside in the caribbean. I, personally, do live in the caribbean (Puerto Rico to be exact) and I have been having terrible ping spikes and connection issues and I have not found a way to fix this issue. I have had real life friends and online connections who are caribbean that have been having this exact same issue where games will be laggy in brazil servers to the point where the game becomes unplayable. It also ruins matchmaking in servers where there are 2 individual people and it connects us both to a Brazil server whilst I am connected in a NA server.
hi, to answer your question: no, im not in the caribbean. i am in south america, which just makes the situation weirder. also, a little update on my situation, my ping now averages 350 in brazil.
this has made playing most games annoying (and sometimes just straight up unbearable)
update to the update from the next day: still hasnt fixed itself and has only gotten worse to the point where i cant even join games sometimes because my connection times out. i even factory reset my pc to no avail.
i really wish an admin or whoever could or does know something about this saw this thread but i dont have any expectations and i guess ill just have to wait this out.
