"Play Here" while bulding and creating in Roblox Studio not working properly

You can write your topic however you want, but you need to answer these questions:

  1. What do you want to achieve? When I am building a game, I want the play here feature to actually load my character here so i can test something I am working on.

  2. What is the issue? Instead of loading me “here” it is loading me somewhere else in the middle of my Obby. It seems to do this intermittently, as in its the luck of the draw… so in order for me to test what I just did I have to actually play thru levels of my Obby to even get to where I need to be for testing purposes. This takes me a-lot of extra time, when I should in fact load exactly where I am at so I can test what it is I am working on.

  3. What solutions have you thought of so far? I have successfully went thru the Obby to the end and saved hoping it would save my spot like it is suppose to do but the save keeps disappearing. Is it really this volatile ! ? throwing my hands up in exasperation ! The repetition of error occurring here is getting really annoying and slowing me down. “Play here” is suppose to actually do what it says… PLAY HERE but its not. I don’t know what to do since I don’t control this built in feature of roblox studio.

Other information that might be useful and that I did think about on whether it could contribute to the problem I am experiencing…
My game has Teams built in so that a players position save which is typical of Obby games. Spawn checkpoints are being used with the different Team / Stage levels and they are color coded. The data is being stored.

The issue occurring seems intermittent. The play here feature just isn’t working. Even if I hit play, it sometimes takes me back to a different level even though ive successfully completed the entire Obby.

Idk if the play here feature works when a Spawn Location is active, just start the test and change to server in the Test tab, then drag your character to where you want to be
