Play testing any game immediately causes Studio to crash/freeze

Reproduction Steps

1. Open any place file, even a template
2. Run a play test

Expected Behavior

Studio should run a play test and not crash or freeze.

Actual Behavior

In most cases, the “An unexpected error occurred and Roblox needs to quit. We’re sorry!” error immediately appears and Studio crashes. In other cases, Studio will freeze indefinitely.

I had been using Studio normally just yesterday.

Currently having the same issue – Think it may be a global issue.
Was using it fine about an hour ago – There seemed to have been an update in which implemented Highlights instead of bound boxes when selecting Instances and now this crash occurs.

I am also having this issue, but I haven’t had the game freeze, only crash.

I’m getting this whenever I try to add a new part but my studio freezes.
