When clicking on a player’s name in the default Roblox Player List, if that player leaves the game at the exact same moment, the Player List disappears and cannot be reopened until rejoining the game.
This happened while playing Prison Life, which uses the default Roblox Player List UI.
# Steps to Reproduce
Join a Roblox game that uses the default Player List (e.g., Prison Life).
Open the Player List (default Tab key or top-right icon).
Click on another player’s name.
At the exact same moment, have that player leave or be kicked/banned.
Observe that the Player List disappears and cannot be reopened.

Windows 10, Roblox Player (if you need more information reply to my post please.)

This happened only once so far, because it requires very precise timing.
It is likely an engine-level bug, since it occurs with the default Roblox Player List UI and not a custom implementation.
Expected behavior
I expected that it would still be working with no problems, even if I couldn’t see the player template (feature that shows user information when you click in their username via Roblox Default Playerlist).
This has been an issue since Roblox added the new Player List, I think. I’ve had it happen to me on numerous occasions. I’m surprised that they haven’t patched this bug already. There’s also another “critical” bug (as in completely self-destructs it) relating to when components are renamed in CoreGui before it initializes. A Roblox Employee once wrote it off as “intended behavior,” which is absurd. It’ll also make it disappear and cease to work, but triggered by dev actions instead of an edge case while it’s being used. I mean, come on, how do they not encounter or think about these things before they put them into production and not notice it for over a year? They must not have tested it thoroughly, but I would think that they would have thought, “Oh, what if the Player leaves while the Context Menu for them is open?” Seems like common sense to do to avoid these major oversights. Anyway, I hope they fix this soon. (Edit: This also reminds me of when Roblox added the new “Start Menu” in Roblox Studio, which literally didn’t work whatsoever, and you couldn’t load into any Experience. Like, how do you manage to commit something that you screwed up THAT bad to the point where primary functionalities are broken?)
I have an update of this issue. It just happened again. I clicked in the player object item in the playerlist in the exact moment he left. And I did this because I was spamming clicks because I knew he was going to leave, I just wanted to test and provide more details of this whole bug report. I took 2 screenshots that shows the output, and in my opinion, it’s very clear. Let me know if you need further details.
I also need to say that in my output window, everytime I open the playerlist with the TAB key, it fires a warning in the output window. It only fires if you calmly press it, without spamming it, and without having the playerlist open.
