Player Point Casino Progress

But then players could easily earn back more than they pay for.
Would you rather play a game where you pay some robux and have a chance to win some (useless) pp, or a chance to win pp and a chance to do it again?

Wouldn’t you rather play a game that actually has a player point budget?

SIck bro id love to see this!

The place will not be solely a player point casino, it’s actually more of a hangout/club that will have the option to play card games, slot machines, ect.

But it’s advertised as ‘Player Point Casino’ and is covered with Player Point logos.

  1. He is making people buy Chips not PP
  2. Everyone has the same chance of winning PPs for the cash they spent on Chips
So it should not be affected by the rules against buying PPs.

No, he’s making people buy PP. If you have to spend money in order to get PP then you’re buying PP. It still counts if you’re not directly buying it.

No, because people who don’t spend money can’t win any. PP isn’t something that only exists in this game, it’s something that exists across the entire site and these rules are in place to prevent them from becoming worthless. If one game is selling them then the people with money will consistently be at the top of the leaderboard.

Can we please get an Administrator in here to clear this up…?

My Europeaness tells me it’s a public holiday in America.

It’s labor day, no one does labor on labor day.

  1. Each user gets a starter amount of chips - if a user is lucky, they could get player points completely free by playing the tables right.
  2. Per point 1, users do have the chance to win player points by not purchasing anything at all - users can also get chips by the use of a login bonus that is cumulative. The option to purchase chips are for people who want to ‘raise the stakes’ in a sense, and also enjoy amenities at the casino (Chips can be cashed out for in-game currency that can be used at the casino.)

My point is that we’re not saying, “Ok, you bought 10K chips, and here’s a ton of player points” - casinos in real-life don’t work like that. I would consider it an achievement if you won the jackpot on a slot machine that had an incredibly low chance of winning.

The incentive to play is purely driven by the prospect of winning player points, not a playing in a casino.

It has Player Points in the game’s title. Like seriously.

There seems to be a misunderstanding here. The problem is not that people aren’t getting free points. The problem is that people are paying for points. No one should ever be paying for any points at all, ever. Paying for points includes paying to enable a feature where you can earn points, paying for chips that you use to earn points, really anything that eventually leads to the paying players getting more points than the free players.

But you are saying “Ok, you bought a chip, now you can earn player points”.

The building is really nice though I do agree with what Wid said.

Now on the player points topic… I highly recommend not taking the debate too far and allow an admin to reply.
Yeh but it’s a game designed solely to win player points.
There is no other point to it.
easy fix,
with player points, you get ingame credits and inreturn can perhaps use that to purchase more chips, instead of using ROBUX.
(ITS BRILLIANT, use it pl0x)

2@ArceusInator.

Haven’t you understood it yet?

He is selling chips to people that want it, you spawn with some and can “win PPs” if you win the table of cards.
Not buy the PPs it self, but ofc if the admins look at it the way your buying something to get a VIP and use the VIP to get PPs you can OFC break rules but then again, your going against what PPs are used for xD

Hi there!

First let me start by saying “Dang yo that building is off the hook amazing”

Now it get into more serious business, a casino on ROBLOX?

As long as it is has two in game currencies, one that you could start to play with and one that you you could play more or trade out for player points, then it is okay. It also has to have pay out. You cannot just continually take people money, mod would look into the scripts to make sure the RNG is actually random. No loaded dice up in here.

First off, thanks for the compliment
Thanks for clearing this debate up as well! Techteam911 will surely follow all the rules while scripting this.

Sweet - thanks for the clarification on this!
