As a developer it is currently impossible to lock people out of the edit mode of group games if they have the edit games permissions in the Group. Since some groups have a lot of developers, and sometimes you want certain ones to have access to certain places and not all of them, it would be nice if group owners could have the ability to add people to a whitelist that would allow the developers that you want to edit the places that you want.

Maybe, but it seems as though a more suitable solution would be to just invite the people who you want to have access to a private team-create and then publish it to the group. People shouldn’t be promoted to a group rank that allows team-create if they aren’t supposed to create (correct me if I’m wrong because I’ve never gotten into large groups, so I don’t really know).
A large development group might have multiple teams of developers, each working on a different game so it’d be good if we could choose who can edit what game. Or, if you’re like me and you keep your personal games in your group, but don’t want other developers in the group to access them you could also choose who edits what.
It’s not a bad idea, but it’s definitely not a top priority. There are lots of ways around this (more time consuming, yes, but there are still ways around it).
