Hi! One of my active players (who spent hours in the game and even makes YouTUbe reviews, so it’s definitely not an age or playtime restriction) sent me a screenshot. It clearly shows him trying to like the game in the Roblox mobile app, but a banner at the top says “Action not available”. At the same time, the “Faorite” button works perfectly for him.
Because og this bug, I now have a huge anomaly in my game’s stats: with 8623 total visits, I have 103 Favorites vs 23 Likes. Players clearly want to support the game, but the platform physically rejects their votes on mobile devices. Please look into this voting API isuure, as it deeply affects my game’s rating and growth.
Steps to reproduce:
Open the Roblox app
Go to my experience page.
Press the “Like” button.
Actual Result: The “Action not available” erro pops up, and the vote is rejected..

I have a few questions that may help narrow down the cause:
• Does this happen only to this specific player, or have multiple players reported the same issue?
• What device model, operating system (Android/iOS), and Roblox app version are they using?
• If they try liking other experiences, do they get the same “Action not available” error, or is it only happening on your experience?
• Have they tried restarting the Roblox app, clearing the app cache (if on Android), or reinstalling the app to see if the issue persists?
• Are they able to like the experience from the Roblox website or from another device?
If multiple users can consistently reproduce this, that would strongly suggest a platform-side issue rather than something specific to the experience. Additional reproduction details would be very helpful for the engineering team to investigate.
Since the player has already spent hours in your experience, the playtime requirement doesn’t appear to be the cause. One thing that may also be worth confirming is whether the affected account has a verified email address, as account eligibility requirements can sometimes affect the ability to leave a Like.
If the account already meets those requirements and the issue still occurs, then this would further support that the problem may be platform-side. I hope the engineering team is able to investigate this further.
Thank you for confirming that. Since the player has already played the experience and also has a verified email address, the common eligibility requirements don’t appear to be the cause.
At this point, it may be worth checking a few additional things:
Does the issue only occur with your experience, or is the player also unable to Like other experiences?
Does the same error occur on another device, browser, or network?
Is the player able to Favorite the experience, or is only the Like action affected?
If the issue is isolated to this account and all of the above have been ruled out, then this increasingly looks like a platform-side issue rather than something you can fix. Hopefully a Roblox engineer can investigate further if there aren’t any other reports or workarounds.
Also let me know if your experience is public to everyone, if it’s only pubiic for your friends then it might be that issue, I still can’t confirm that.

Unfortunately, I can’t obtain that level of detailed information from random players. I was already very fortunate that one player reported the issue and even provided a video.
My experience is public and available to everyone.
At the moment, the only information I have is that this player is unable to Like not only my experience, but also some other experiences. However, they are able to add experiences to Favorites without any issues.

I’ve actually encountered the same issue myself from India, where the “Action not available” message appears when trying to Like certain experiences. While I can’t confirm whether it’s region-specific, it does suggest that this may be a broader Roblox platform issue rather than a problem with an individual experience or account.
Hopefully this information is helpful, and I hope the engineering team is able to investigate the root cause.
