Hi,
I’m a first time solo dev, currently finalizing my upcoming game, Get A Grip, a fast-paced, round-based online multiplayer racing game. Players pick a base car model and then customize their build with mods, which alter car stats in various ways.
Before launching our formal marketing campaign, I am running a week long series of coordinated playtests. As many of you know, Roblox’s current publishing framework limits new experiences to 16+ audiences until we cross the threshold of 500 unique engaged players (I’m curious if you think I should pay the 100k expedited publishing fee to bypass this requirement).
I am looking for players to join our scheduled sessions to help test server stability and provide critical design feedback.
What We Are Testing & Feedback Goals:
- Gameplay Feel: How responsive do the physics, driving controls, and UI states feel during matches?
- First-Time User Experience (FTUE): I want to know how friendly the onboarding process is. Does the tutorial effectively teach you the core gameplay aspects? Is there anything you feel that the tutorial should explain but doesn’t?
- Clarity: There are several subtle mechanics (such as what each powerup does or how our party system works) not explicitly explained in the tutorial. I want to see if first-time players naturally acknowledge and adopt these features, or if they are completely missed.
Platform Support: Full cross-play for PC, Mobile, and Xbox.
Incentives: All active playtesters will receive a permanent, exclusive [Alpha Tester] overhead title, a unique vehicle cosmetic, and a substantial in-game currency package at launch.
How to Participate: To avoid empty servers and ensure full lobbies, we will be hosting specific playtest windows. Please comment on this thread or reach out to me directly to get the schedule and game link:
