Please help me on sizing places!

I want to make a diner, and I do go to google images and try to have a reference for it. There is one problem for that though… how do I find the appropriate sizing of it? My places either be too big, or too small, too short, or too tall. That’s not all! It either be too sloppy, or too spaced out! How do I fix this?

Use a regular R15 rig to figure out scaling.

To make one, find “Build Rig” in your plugins tab and click “Block Rig” to generate a normal R15 rig.

Thanks, but I’m talking about the overall place. (I edited) Added it being about the space of the place.
(Basically the overall place is walls and objects oof soz)

Hmm
Think of it as a blueprint!
First thing you can do is experiment with part sizing. As seen here.

Try to make the scaling ratio even, and after some time, you should find a reasonable size for your build. This is my strategy so I’m not saying that it will work for others.
This is only for the floor size.

So make the decimal even, just different numbers in the wholes place? (Sorry, I’m not too good at math hahah)

Just make sure that the 1 stays because that is the height (when making the floor scale.), and keep the other numbers even and without a decimal so like 160 x 1 x 200. This is pretty much basic scaling.

So is it bad to add a decimal? Cause in all of my builds my scales had decimals :joy:
Could a decimal be added as long as it’s 0.5 or 0.2 0.3 and so on instead of 0.67 or something like that?

Decimals are fine, because they are so common to have when using the normal scaling tool, but when you use properties you can get exact amounts.

\Use a dummy and scale around it.
