Portrait of a Hero in ROBLOX item uses a HatAttachment despite being a Waist Accessory

The item “Portrait of a Hero in ROBLOX” is classified as a Waist Accessory on the website and avatar editor. However, the hat actually uses the HatAttachment, intended for Hats.

How to reproduce:

  1. Equip the Portrait of a Hero in ROBLOX item in some way (either via a catalog game or by wearing it yourself)
  2. Go into R15 and use animations that move the head very often. (such as Udzal’s Idle)
  3. You’ll notice that the Portrait of a Hero in ROBLOX item moves with the head and not the waist, suggesting it uses a HatAttachment.
  4. To confirm this, load the Portrait of a Hero in ROBLOX item into Roblox Studio using InsertService. Inside the explorer, you’ll notice that the attachment inside is a HatAttachment, and not one of the Waist attachments (WaistBackAttachment, WaistCenterAttachment, WaistFrontAttachment).

This is interesting because even though it is a waist accessory, I think it would be better classified as a back accessory due to its placement. Regardless of that the attachment type should be changed to fit whatever attachment type it is meant to be.

Thanks for flagging this.

We made an update so that this Waist Accessory uses one of the waist attachment points.

Let us know if there are any issues with this. Thanks.
