I’ve been working on this game for a few months now, my other games didn’t go so well, but I’m determined to lead this game to success! Warfront is a futuristic Multiplayer/Singleplayer game, you goal being to Defend the core for as long as you can! Check out the Story Intro inside the game
Here is the game Link:
Just 2 of us have been working on this game, yep… A dev team of 2 people!
It’s been a while since I’ve made a post like this, what I want to uncover is how much you like the game. Why so? How long would you play it for? Would you share it? etc

To show that this isn’t just an advertisement, I would love to receive general Feedback on how the Gameplay and First Impressions of the game could be improved!
This game may not look the best, have the highest quality game-play or even a single shop yet, but we all suspect this from a starting game. I want the game-play to feel right and satisfying. So my overall question is, Do you think it’s fun?
For me, the UI and the GFX cutscene is looking kind of cheap and unpolished, especially the logo and the menu, you might wanna clean up those. I see TONS of potential in the gameplay premis: It’s like tower defense but at the same time if you don’t move you might as well die. This could be expanded way more than just placing turrets down and/or shields.
Upon first entering the lobby, i do not know what to do (clicking on the “gamepass” button thinking that’s a powerup, idiotic me), so you might wanna make more guidance on it.
Found a bug: Upon the first cutscene ensues, the top-down camera locked, whenever i moved my avatar the camera won’t follow again.
Wishing you luck for this game, it has a lot of potential if you polish it a lot more
But despite those quirks, I honestly think that there’s a much more underlying tones that needs to be addressed.. the atmosphere and design.
It’s not really a surprise that most players within the community are young, and given the young audience, I don’t really think that this game will necessarily attract them because of how it feels… none atmospheric. Obviously there’s robots and elements of UIs here and there to make it this tone of “technology-gone-rogue” feel, but honestly I’m not really feeling it.
Additionally I’d like to point out that I feel the crates are such an obstacle for players, that forcing them onto a camera angle is already enough. (Not saying that your camera angle is bad, but just saying that you shouldn’t dump too much expectancy on the player.)
Here’s an example of an old popular game that kinda has the same concept as yours:
It achieves the many points I outline above:
No obstacles.
Established atmosphere.
Polished design.
I’m sure there’s stuff others will point out, but that’s my take. I wish you luck on this, because man.. it has potential!
I like it, it’s great for a pre-release version. Bugs are expected so I wasn’t worried about those.
The thing that I would like to bring up is the atmosphere. I feel like you went so far into making the models and graphics high quality. Everything seems in place, but there are minor things that take away from the moment.
They’re minor enough for me to notice right away, maybe it’s just me though
First thing, entering the game - I liked the menu layout and the background. I wish the buttons would have a hover effect for mouse, it just makes it feel like something clickable (even though I know I’m supposed to press play). The chat UI is nice and you added a hover for it but it gets in the way often. It looks like a custom one so I recommend looking into a good size that doesn’t block any menu elements. It’s probably also possible to disable hovering the menu when you are equipped with a weapon or placing towers.
Second thing, I think it’s been mentioned, those gamepass bonuses at the start were a little confusing. 1, the NPC directions said that there were powerups around the map so I thought I was supposed to pick one or something. 2, they aren’t labelled clearly (for me) so being hard to read causes a little confusion in what I’m supposed to pick. It might be better and more honest, but don’t worry I know you’re not trying to scam or anything lol to have a “buy powerups” sign somewhere to clarify they aren’t a necessary part of the gameplay.
I am not a fan of games where my character is super small on the screen. That’s my preference, I just thought I would mention it in case I’ve been unawaringly biased in what I’ve been saying. It makes me feel like all the detail goes away, so in part, that is why I feel like some of the immersiveness from a game like this tends to be thrown away. You have all the right pieces, it’s fun and it’s flashy.
I really like how the camera moves with the mouse from the center, that is a nice touch, very smooth. Probably my favourite part of the whole game, idk why but it just stood out as the most fluid motion (character motion is also fluid). Best wishes on release
