Pressing "\" no longer exits ui select mode

When you have a controller plugged in while using a PC, Roblox will go into UI selection mode sometimes when clicking on ui elements. Normally you are able to press the "" key which exits the UI selection mode and lets you continue moving, but the key is no longer working. This bug makes it impossible to move without pressing the select key on the controller that is plugged into your computer, which means you have to move your hands from your keyboard to your controller in order to continue playing becuase the UI selection mode eats up all movement keys and causes your player to be stuck in place.

This bug also means that if you can no longer use the "" to select ui elements using your keyboard if you don’t have a controller plugged in.

[UPD] Build a Golem Army!

Both of these games trigger the ui select mode when i click on a ui element with my mouse and don’t respond to “\”.

Pressing “\” in these experiences does exit the ui select mode, but pressing “\” won’t put me into the ui select mode.

Can you please check in your settings menu to see whether, or not you have the “UI navigation toggle” option enabled?

Don’t remember ever seeing that settings before or toggling it off but it was toggled off for me. Toggled it on so i can now deal with the issue of some experiences toggling ui navigation mode whenever i click ui buttons thank you.

Except that they actually do sometimes:-

"Option to View Untranslated Message” turns itself off everytime the app is restarted

Greetings, The Chat Translation feature on Roblox experiences have an option to view untranslated chat messages, and the option can be controlled from the in-game menu. For months I’ve been experiencing about 3 different settings that randomly get changed, so this is definitely something that needs to be looked into

Going to close out this ticket since the specific issue was fixed. If you’re having problems with settings resetting, please check this bug report instead: Movement mode seemingly switching itself to click to move, resulting in shift lock issues

Hi! This is technically not solved since I’m having the same issue and there’s no way to exit ui select mode other than spamming (and i mean autoclicking) the esc menu.
It happens whenever I type in an emoji in chat and press enter from what I can tell.
It then causes it to toggle on and I can’t use backslash to turn it off.
Here’s a video of this issue where you can see in my case the UI Selection Mode is disabled.
