I love making survival games mostly because I love to play them myself. I’ve recently made a new landscape generator for what basically amounts to Into the Frost 2. I think that the gens it makes are pretty cool. Regretfully, I’m using a lab computer and can’t provide any decent screen shots, but if you check out the place right here then I’m sure you’ll like it.

Yes indeed. It’s actually percent based. From the max height of the terrain a percent of it is water, sand, rock, and snowcap.[/quote]
Cool. Mine treats everything as dirt, but anything near water gets ‘brushed’ with sand. (i.e. any parts of the terrain which aren’t water get turned to sand if they’re in a certain radius)
I’m currently thinking of a nice way to make stone though… I would like it if it did something similar to my brush mechanic.
I’ve started adding in Survival mechanics (the Promotion game I’m still waiting for feedback on). I’d love to see what you guys think of the Gather animation.
