Prevent Lag On Low End Devices

So I am making a game and the trees alone consist of 14112 parts. This could lag low end devices. How do I prevent lag?

Can you show us a picture of the tree
giving us a visual aid would greatly help people on the forum come up with a response

Thats a tree

consists of around 10 parts.

I think making it a mesh would be a great idea. blender is a good program for that

The tree is made of a mesh though the trunk is what is made of about 5 peices. (The roots are underground and not visible though)

You don’t need blender to turn studio builds into meshes. Just export the group of parts into file, place a meshpart and import the .obj into the meshpart.

Hello there,

Try a anti-exploit script! It is not working for the exploiters. But sometimes it is working for lag!

I hope it works!

No. Just because you use less parts does not mean you solve lag; it’s the amount of triangles/polygons rendered that causes lag like that.

That’s a LOT for just trees. However, you can do the following tips to improve speed drastically.

  • Use StreamingEnabled and set the stream ranges as low as desired.
  • Set all mesh and union render fidelitys to Automatic and the smoothing angle to 0.
  • Any parts that never interact with physics should have CanCollide false.
  • All parts should be anchored and archiveable
  • Use more primatives and less unions/meshes.

What? How would that even help at all?
