Prevent Players from exerting forces on boat, but allow them to stand on boat?

Hi, so I’m attempting to make a terrain boat that moves to transport players, but whenever they get on the boat they rock it and cause it to break. Is there any way I could prevent this from happening? I’ve tried making the boat only able to collide with terrain through collision groups, and then have the player weld their own client boat to this boat, but somehow they are still able to rock it. I’ve tried adding a base underwater, but this causes it to rock as well. Changing densities doesn’t help either.

I’m lost at what to do, not even sure why they make it so you can rock boats so easily. Is there a way I can make the boat replicate the features of a terrain boat? Whenever I switch over to CFrame, the players can’t stand on the boat anymore.

I had the same issue with my game. The best way to prevent this is to add a BodyGyro to the base of the boat.

It will essentially add a rotational force depending on its current orientation so that it will maintain the orientation given in its properties. You should play around with its properties until it does not flip over long-ways when a player jumps onto it.

Do you have a chassis on which you put the parts on? I’ve been trying to get FM boat chassis’ but none of them are nice. Thanks.
