I played Roblox a lot when I was younger. Mostly ceased playing in 2013 I would say. I recently came back and noticed that many of my accounts were compromised and likely had been for years. Luckily, on some the passwords were not changed so I was able to better secure them.
I assume someone got hold of an old account list I had on my desktop over the years and found that those accounts all shared the same password (obvious mistake made by a younger me). All of the account locations were in random places around the world and the accounts were following thousands of random people. Most of these accounts were blank and used for game testing when I created them in 2012-2014.
Now, recently Roblox has been banning them for being associated with various accounts that are completely unrelated to me and who had serious rule violations. I have tried appealing a few of them, but I get an almost instant denial and my requests are pretty much ignored. I feel like it should be obvious that they were compromised given the activity and locations changing from my own. Also, luckily, most of them were verified under my email from the beginning. Which I thought would help my case to at least prove I have owned them since they were created.
Now I am worried that my main (this account) will be banned along with all the others for being associated with randoms. I do not believe this account was one that was compromised, but I don’t remember now. I have spent a lot of time on this account and building up my inventory since when I played as a teenager I had no money to buy the things I wanted or robux and now I do.
I have emailed Roblox explaining this exact situation after my most recent ban and the appeal was denied almost instantly. If a real person reviews my appeal I am sure they would be able to tell what happened. Luckily all the banned accounts were nearly empty, but now I’m worried about this one. I have no idea what to do at this point.
