Hello, so I’ve been working on Map Voting with custom lighting settings and on of the maps, I’ve added a PrioritizeLightingQuality attribute which when trying to change does not work. I ran a command to manually change the Lighting setting and sure enough it hadn’t worked. Not only that but you cannot access PrioritizeLightingQuality in scripts.

Sorry, but I understand that you can’t change lighting properties using scripts (although they mentioned that they might add it after a request). If you do it from Roblox player, Unified Lighting is a studio beta.
Greetings!
Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
The reported behavior is intentional as stated in the reply above, and it’s described in the documentation, as you can see it on the following pages:
- Lighting | Documentation - Roblox Creator Hub
- Let There Be (Unified) Light! Unified Lighting Enters Studio Beta
We don’t currently have plans to update it.
Thanks for understanding.
Have a Nice Day!
