I have made the following animation for my rapier model:
I did this by welding the right hand to the handle. The animation plays out fine as you can see, with several forward stabbing motions.
The problem is when I try to test the animation that the animation bugs out. Here I inserted it into a simple sword script, but instead of stabbing the correct way, the character just holds the sword in its default position.
Do I need to alter the handle’s angle? Does the hand need not to be animated? I should add I tried this with my rapier model and a script inside it but the same thing happened. Please help
