Problem with texture

I used a model that I got from a 3d model website ( Radio free VR / AR / low-poly 3D model | CGTrader). However, when applying the texture it won’t load onto the model and looks like this.

Can someone provide a step by step tutorial on how I can fix this issue so that in future I can use it as reference? (I am bad with blender) Thank you.

I think that is just 1 part of the texture, the model you downloaded from the website has a zip as well, where the texture(s) are stored in. In this case all those images are alltogether 1 texture. Which is weird, but the color is basically 1 part of the texture. Did you only upload 1 image out of that ZIP?

It might as the texture being moderated or it is not uploaded properly try reupload with new name

I read the ‘Readme.txt’ file in the zip and it told me I can just use one of the image files (forgot the name of it) so I uploaded that as the texture ID of the mesh

Same issue occurs when reuploading

Try to change file format to jpg using photo editor

The image file is already jpg format

Change it to png then might help

What’s the aspect ratio of the texture?

I am not sure how to check this but the dimensions are 2048x2048

It has to be 1024x1024 or under

Ah, I see. How do I change it to that?

On PC, go into Pixlr and open a new project that’s 1024x1024. Then import the texture of choice and resize it.

Unfortunately ur method as well as this:

didn’t work. I think there is a problem with the texture itself as I saw a comment under the model saying the texture isn’t correct. Thanks for helping though
