Professionalism on RBXdev - stop posting screenshots outside

This is exactly what we’re going for.
So if someone says something funny we can’t screenshot it, I understand? Or do we just have to sort of use our own judgement…
Honestly. Why is there discussion about this? It’s fairly cut and dry.

There’s more than enough people to point to and laugh at elsewhere on the net

I think the point is that RBXDev has to keep it’s professional appearance, so showing people the funny/comical posts probably isn’t allowed because more often than not they’re unprofessional. But, I think the questions about funny posts being released publicly are answered in the original post

Ah okay okay
What are the consequences?

Instant ban forever.

Our hearts break. And we are dissapoint.

Yeah no more leaks, more so to public places like twitter…

Though they are allowed in places that are restricted to RBXDev only right? example: Skype lounge.

Just post a link to the thread.

No, some members added non RBX Dev users in there.

That’s silly. You could just post a link to the post if you’re talking to other members.

Why did whoever set up the chat room do this?
It sort of voids all point in it being called RBXDev chat room.

I believe it’s actually called RBX Dev Random BS Chat :stuck_out_tongue:
But yes, it seems very stupid to add non-RBxDev members to the RbxDev chat. The stuff trust us to keep things here confidential, we should respect that.

Guys it’s not like the skype lounge is public. While it’s not restricted to rbxdev members it still is restricted.

At the end of the day, no matter how you want to cut it, they’ve asked us politely not to post screenshots of the forum outside of it. Skype is outside, ipso facto, no screenshots.

I’m not arguing towards posting screenshots, I’m arguing against it. That post was just making sure they have an accurate image of the skype lounge.

“What if I’m sending it to another RBXDever?”

What, are links not useful? Last I checked links:

 1. You have to sign in to see
 2. Has the entire thread
 3. Update titles typically explain the post on TL;DR format.

Whenever someone asks for a screenshot I give them a picture of this post. I hope that’s ok.

Simple:

1: Are you about to post in a public place?
Yes: Don’t
No: Go to 2

2: Are you allowing the content to be viewable to anyone not officially part of the forum?
Yes: Don’t
No: Go to 3

3: Do you have good intensions for sharing the content?
Yes: Go ahead!
No: Don’t
