Project: REWIND - The Game
Version 26.1.0
Ok so yes, it has been a long time since the release of rewind and its many bug fixes post launch. I suck at project management but I saw how much we had done on the dev build and decided to get it ready for release about a month ago, so here we are.

[ Maps ]
Construction - FFA
- Fight in a skyscraper in the middle of being built! How rude.
- Quite a small map, designed for close-quarters combat, with a lot of cover.
SmileVille - FFA
- People in this neighbourhood don’t seem to get along very well, there are fights going on all the time. Ugh, if only they’d keep the noise down.
- Medium sized map with limited cover and very slippery cars.
The Plate of DOOM - FFA
- Spleef but evil.
- Every 5 seconds tiles will randomly become destructible / indestructible.
Forts - TD2
- They can’t agree on who controls the mountain, there is only one way to settle the debate.
- Medium sized map with multiple levels, careful of the water!
R - Rated Battleships - TD2
- Psst, hey. Why couldn’t the 11 year old go to a pirate movie?
Because it was rated Rrrrrr. - Very small map, with limited cover. Designed for close-quarters combat.
- You don’t float.
- Psst, hey. Why couldn’t the 11 year old go to a pirate movie?
Doomspires - TD4
- Added more platforms and exit points to all spires.
- Removed the ground.

[ KO Effects ]
Skeddadle (150 Tix)
- Well they were in a hurry. Leaves an after image of your opponent made out of cartoony clouds, as they’re flung away at high speeds.
Anvil (500 Tix)
- Drop an anvil on your opponent.
Critical (250 Tix)
- “This is too easy…”
[ Other ]
Tool Tree
- Unlock various tools from 5 different categories by getting KOs, healing yourself, making your enemies slip on a banana peel, and more!
Daily Login Boosts
- Log in daily for a 1.5x boost to all earned tix (obviously excludes tix purchases). Get 10 minutes of the boost every day (and 40 minutes on the 7th), only counts down while in-game.
Friend Boosts
- Get a 1.1x boost to all earned tix by playing with a friend (does not stack).
Round Modifiers
- You can purchase modifiers in the shop with tix that will change gameplay for the following round, they can stack too!
Improved Rewind System
- With some optimizations the game is now able to handle larger maps, with only a few destroyed objects. The game does still tend to lag if the entire map has collapsed.
In-Match Leaderboard + Tool Banners
- New custom leaderboard, say goodbye to the default roblox one. Aaaand you get to customize your slot with a banner of your choosing!
- Unlock banners by completing the requirements shown in the tool tree after unlocking a tool.
New VFX system
- Will enable us to get fancier with graphics later down the line, as well as introduce settings for you to toggle to improve performance if need be.
Map Animations
- Some maps may have animated objects within them, these are simulated on the client and will have no impact on gameplay.
Ragdolls
- You now ragdoll when wiped-out.
Player Outlines
- Every player has an outline in every single gamemode.
- In team-based modes the outline colors will change depending on the team.
Damaging and Healing Effects
- Players now flash red when hurt and green when they have healed a decent amount of health.
Loading screen
- There is now an actual loading screen, and no it doesn’t just wait 5 seconds and goes away. It waits for all necessary things on start-up to finish loading.
Global Leaderboard
- Players were not in the correct order all the time, and your KO count would not always show / update.
Fire
- Deals 3 damage to characters and 2 damage to blocks afflicted, every second.
Kill Credit System
- Kill credit has become a little more sophisticated, some projectiles and explosives will be able to transfer their ownership to other tools. This hopefully allows for trick shots done by using other player’s tools to correctly give credit to the player who performed the trick shot.
Going back to menu
- Pressing M / down on the DPad will put you back in the main menu after your next WO or after time rewinds. This should hopefully cut down on combat logging.
Health regen
- Your HP only naturally regens outside of combat. You are deemed as being in combat after being hit, you then exit combat after 5 seconds of not being damaged.
Music System
- Makes music management a lot easier for us, allowing for more complex and possibly dynamic music.
- All maps now have their own music tracks!
Intermission
- Added relaxing music.
- Reduced intermission time from 30 seconds down to 20.
New epic game thumbnails!
- We got a little carried away and designed 50 simple & unique characters for us to make promotional content with - 50 to represent the limit of 20 players across the different gamemodes available.
- We will be using these characters for some in-game images/icons as well, however, they are mostly for promotional material.
Parties
- Parties now also affect team selection for the gamemodes: Team Deathmatch 2, and Team Deathmatch 4. It is now much more likely for you to be paired up with your party members in these team based modes. “Much more likely” because I still have not fully perfected the sorting algorithm.
Forcefields
- Get a forcefield for 3 seconds after respawning at a spawn location.
KO & WO sounds
- Now it’s a little easier to tell who won a fight on rewind.
- A sound will play locally when you get a KO, and a different sound will play locally when you get wiped-out.
Bloxstrap Rich Presence
- If you use Bloxstrap and have discord rich presence enabled, the game will show your current match data on discord!
