Ok so in my game, I want to add prop destruction, but since I don’t know how to script, Im stuck. Until i got this idea. Instead of using complex scripts, I decide to use something out of the ordinary. So my idea is to use a dummy or a prop with a humanoid in it. I will just hide the health bar, so when i shoot it or use any health damaging item, it won’t reveal that its secretly a dummy. So when the dummy dies, hopefully the prop model I’ve inserted in while disappear. if not, I’ll have to find a way to fix that.
I don’t think that’s a great idea. It won’t look smooth, it’s pretty inefficient, and you’ll end up writing around the same amount of code anyway.
You’re better off just learning how to script a prop breaking instead of just destroying the model and cloning a new one into the workspace.
yeah this is a solution to me not knowing how to script at all.
Even if you used this idea you would have to script because you would need to replicate the prop disappearing after the humanoid health = 0 or else the prop would only disappear on the client side.
