Proper Trailer with Suspension?

Hello there! I am looking for some help on making a trailer, however I have never even made a car on Roblox, meaning I got no experience with suspensions in the field. I will start off by showing a great example of what I would like to do, when it comes to the suspension part, the clip is from RoCitizens.

Example: https://youtu.be/01Nk1sCIoeA (Video file was too big to upload)

I, with some help from that old basic car tutorial from the old documentation website, managed to create:

I have tried to find more information on the topic however, although there are multiple great resources for cars, I couldn’t find any that fits me and my trailer

What you have is basically what they have. You just need to tune it. I don’t think you’re going to find a tutorial specifically for trailers, since its basically the same thing minus the motor constraints.

You also might want to play around with invisible weighted blocks to prevent it from dipping forward too much. Up to you, but you’re on the right track

Thank you for your reply, tuning is the hardest part to get good, trailers tend to dip down a bit, at least when they are on their own

Also, I know that you do some scripting and that this is not a scripting support category, howevery, could you possibly give me some tips/ideas on how I could go about scripting the hitch system, for hooking the trailer onto a vehicle.

Don’t need help with like the way a player interacts with the system to get it hooked, what I would like to have some tips on is the actual hooking and unhooking part, when a part on the trailer gets connected to a part on a vehicle. (Without things being very janky)

Last but not least, for building/studio, how would create, with parts and constraints, a middle section between the trailer and vehicle which lets the trailer move relatively freely left and right, up and down a little bit on uneven roads and such. (Like a real life trailer)

Sorry for all that text ;p
