Problem
The experience is set to Public, but only accounts with edit access (owner / collaborators) can join. Everyone else gets “This experience is currently unavailable” on the experience page, and joining a friend shows “…is in an experience you don’t have access to”.
What we tested
- Account A: age-checked (18–20), highest content maturity setting → blocked
- Account B: fully verified (facial age estimation + government ID, verified age 21), content setting 17+, no edit access, not friends with the owner → blocked
- Playability API for Account B returns:

Settings (all checked)
- Audience: Public · Audience Reach: Ages 16+ and trusted friends
- Owner publishing reach: All ages (owner ID-verified + 2FA)
- Questionnaire completed, rating Mild, no non-compliant regions
- Access settings: All Ages, all regions, Free to Play, place “Fully Open”
- Published version exists
Expected: Age-verified users 16+ can join during the trial phase (as stated in Audience Reach and confirmed by the Roblox Support chat).
Actual: Even verified adults are gated (CoreGated). A paid ad campaign brought 0 visits and had to be paused.
