When prompting a purchase in-game for a sold-out resellable limited item, it will display its Original Price rather than the Best Price of the resellers. Clicking the buy button will charge you however much the lowest reseller is selling the item for. This is especially troubling on previously free items, as it appears to be purchasable for 0 Robux, but completing the purchase will charge your account.
The in-game purchase prompt for limiteds should display the Best Price of the lowest reseller to avoid people from purchasing items for incorrect/deceiving amounts via the Original Price.

We have found the root cause for showing the wrong price on purchase prompt and temporarily disabled in-experience resale purchases of limited items to prevent unintentional purchases being made. We are working on confirming all impacted resale transactions to refund and revert the resold items during the impacted period. Sorry for the convenience.
