Quality Assurance Tests on New Updates

As a Roblox developer, it is currently too hard to do anything in Roblox Studio. A lot of these new updates tend to have a lot of bugs, and a lot of them do get reported but never acted upon. Some examples include:

  • The undo tool forgetting a thing to undo but remembering the rest;
  • Extreme amounts of bloatware coming from Studio itself, I do not know what caused it, I’m assuming something related to AI;
  • Random crashes due to unknown causes;
  • Right Click while using camera opens up the menu and results in the Documentation being opened up out of nowhere;
  • Constant lag spikes despite more resources being given to Studio itself;

I have noticed that changes to movement, camera and Assistant have been causing more issues for me than improvements. Of course, Roblox Staff doesn’t read these, so I’m mostly shouting into the dark here, but if they do read them, I hope they actually run quality assurance tests on future updates.

Roblox Studio crashed on me just now with no recovery save, I lost 40 minutes worth of progress at least

Please do better

They just keep feeding slop code into platform, maybe they should use AI in QA alongside humans inspecting issues. I can’t even imagine what studios backend looks like now that AI coding models have been out for a while.

Roblox has enterprise licenses for AI tools like Claude and such, however they need to give it better instructions, have better human review and test the code more correctly as not doing such results in issues.
