Hello everyone! I have a question about roblox clothing. I have created a roblox store and I was wondering if I would get banned for posting messi, ronaldo football shirts.
Is there any exceptions? Please tell me.

Hello, you would not get banned for posting football clothing; there are many Ronaldo/Messi jerseys out there, so you shouldn’t have an issue.
If you’re gonna like upload their faces on the shirts, then yes, you’re violating their Rights of Privacy and Publicity. Plus Roblox will take down the shirt because they consider uploading faces ‘giving away PII’, which is not allowed.
But if you’re gonna upload the football shirt itself, with the name and number on the back of the shirt, then I’m not sure if they’re copyrighted, but they most likely are, so better not upload any of them.
You can ask people who specialize in copyright stuff on Reddit and tell them if these types of shirts are copyrighted.
Just because people upload copyrighted material on the platform and they’re fine, doesn’t mean they’re safe to upload. They’re still infringing copyright.
This is happening because the copyright owner (the original creator of whatever was uploaded) hasn’t noticed their creation being uploaded to the platform yet. When they do, they’ll file a DMCA takedown, asking Roblox to remove the creation from the platform.
The uploader of the creation will usually be warned for their first violation, but if they do it again they may either get banned or terminated.
I understand this BUT here is no original creator of the jerseys because it’s not like anyone has a license to them, Ronaldo Or Messi themself would have to take them down and I doubt they care that much. I mean a DMCA is possible but I doubt it.
Also these have been out for many years. Soccer/Football is over all Roblox but no Soccer/Football shirt has been taken down.

I already asked some people on Reddit and they confirmed it’s still copyright infringement. One of them also said what @BlockyCreators said. They said that you’re gonna get away with it because the copyright owners won’t care.
So, I can say you’re relatively safe, unless your shirts become a trend.
Yeah I was applying that it was infringement but that the copyright owners did not care enough all these years to remove them.
