Question on a feedback panel

I have a question, I want to start getting feedback of my game from players, So i had an idea of this feedback panel, would send the feedback to some discord webhook, but ive always been wondering this:
Does it require filtering?
I hate the filter, and i want to hear the players feedback without reading tags, discord is 13+ however im unsure if i should still require to filter or not, is it required.

Well, I saw a guide somewhere on YouTube where a guy connects a game with a Discord bot. True, I don’t know how relevant this information is, but you can try to connect the game with the Discord bot API.

Thid isnt about how to achieve this. I already got the webhook and maybe i might creatr a bot, im just asking of filtering is required to post to the webhook or bot.

I think, you should use webhook

filtering webhook text is needed. prevents users under 13 from sharing Personal Identifiable Information, not just filters swears.

god now i cant read my feedback :+1:

ok but ty!

you shouldn’t really filter it. If someone is sharing info it’s there fault also who would do that?? The only person seeing this data are the game mods/@commitblue. Filtering is unnecessary

they could be a kid thinking (ooh maybe i should add my home address to be fed ez save mone)

This goes beyond having good moderators. Yes, when people try to truthfully input their text and unknowkingly send filtered words, it becomes a logistical nightmare dealing with an influx of garbled mess. Don’t filter it, but absolutely make sure your team won’t disclose personal information, it’s up to your team to moderate the false reports, and the rule-breaking ones. Giving out personal info shouldn’t even be warned, if you see it, temporary ban. You’re essentially filling in the gap, where Roblox would be… but I like what you’re motivated to do, if you can organize your group like a company, by all means do it the best you can!
