So there is this song that is by an artist but it is copyrighted of course, but there is an instrumental that is free which is a very similiar instrumental to that song, would I be allowed to upload that to roblox (the free very similiar one)?
There’s not really a clear answer since copyright law gets very confusing, especially since “very similar” is quite subjective. However, since you yourself acknowledged you think its very similar, I would avoid uploading, since it seems like your intention is to closely replicate the copyrighted work.
