Hello, I’ve been working on a game for the past few months, and I am planning on releasing it publicly and putting a couple of ads to push it (~200+ ad credits) in 2-3 hours. Before then, I wanted to get some advice on the game in terms of how fun it was, whether you would come back, etc.
Some stuff I’ve already taken note of, observed, or have done:
- Players seem to be able to get the game easily. There is currently no official onboarding tutorial process, but most, if not all, players can grasp the game concept during their first round, or right after.
- There is native mobile and console compatibility with optimizations for both.
- The game itself is extremely optimized; there have been no client 0 crashes for the past 7 days. The optimization part has taken the most time.
- Most products are purchasable and giftable with in-game currency; they are not exclusive to Robux purchases. I hope this can increase playtime, but I am aware this may hurt monetization - should I reconsider?
- The ui does not look “too fancy”; it mainly focuses on the content and ease of use (UX).
- I’ve already done some preliminary playtesting and small ad runs (50 credits).
[The game requires 2 players to start] and was made by an extremely small team of developers (2-3 developers, including me). Any bugs or advice can be directly implemented, as I have scripted the entire game and optimized it.
