Quick question about messaging service limits? [:

  1. What do you want to achieve? Keep it simple and clear!

Basically. This is really small and very simple question but im just struggling a bit to understand this part of the limits section

  1. What is the issue? Include screenshots / videos if possible!

What exactly do they mean with “Number of servers??” if they mean all the servers in my game at the time. How would i get all the servers? wouldnt i have to make http requests then? to get all the servers currently running.

Maybe im just overcomplicating/overthinking this?

I understand all the rest but im just struggling a bit to understand what they mean here…

  1. What solutions have you tried so far? Did you look for solutions on the Developer Hub?

Ive looked around quite a bit but cant really find anything that helps me in this case.

Once again. Its a pretty simple question sorry but im just struggling a bit to understand what they mean here?

Any help small/big is reallY appreciated as always

If you have 5 servers running then your server messaging limit is (10+20*5)/minute or 110 per minute

Just gonna ask another question really quickly.

But how would i update the amount when new servers starts/dies?

Lets say my games has 5 servers running. My limit is now 110. 3 servers dies out. How would i make sure to update the amount now?

Slight Correction,

20 times 5 is 100, and plus 10, that would be 110, not 150.

You multiply first before adding according to PEMDAS, It’s a Common mistake.

10 + 20 *7 would be 150

Dont worry about that, think more of the limit being that in 1 server you can get 30 messages per topic per minute. and that a single server can receive 150 global messages per minute. If you just make sure that in your code your server does not exceed that limit then you will be fine.
