When you’re looking through the open collaboration topics, you sometimes need to know if they’re still available or updates on the work instead of scrolling through it all, that is why the ‘summary’ should be opened when hovering over a topic. Give me your opinions.
How is this going to work? You should probably show some examples and make a mock-up of how it would look like more or less.
Also, the collaboration “community” part of the forum is very niche. And what usually happens is the author of their portfolio will edit their topic’s title to say “Closed” or “Open” or similar.
When you click on someone’s profile picture it shows a player icon, description, name, etc, but they could use it to just display a summary of text by the creator of the post.
I said ‘but they could use it to just display a summary of text by the creator of the post.’, please fully read it before assuming it, I know it is a profile.
This isn’t really necessary. Collaboration topics mostly have <25 replies, it would take less then 30 seconds to read the post. I don’t see the point.
To summarise a post accurately would take a large amount of engineering effort for a stretched duriation of time given every post is different and you would have to find an algorithm that works for them all, overall there are much more important things that need doing, it’s not that much effort just to click on it and go back if you don’t like it.
